Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to develop and maintain semi-complex technical documentation. This role involves creating user manuals, job aids, installation guides, and technical bulletins while ensuring alignment with document plans and style standards. The candidate will collaborate with engineering teams, research technical data, and contribute to online help content and product documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including manuals, job aids, and instructions
  • Develop content following document plans, style guides, and documentation standards
  • Collaborate with SMEs to gather insights from engineering drawings, design specifications, and test data
  • Support development of online help systems and product documentation
  • Participate in the full documentation lifecycle, including scope, requirements, and design
  • Review and update content for accuracy, clarity, and usability

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with technical writing, documentation tools, and content management systems (CMS)
  • Strong understanding of engineering documentation, technical publications, and instructional content
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, product specifications, and prototypes
