POSITION TITLE

Hospitality Account Manager, Flooring SBU (Orlando, FL)

 

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Hospitality Account Manager owns and drives growth of hospitality flooring sales across Orlando, Florida and surrounding markets. This role operates with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking full ownership of the territory through strategic account management, specification development, and targeted new business acquisition, while representing Milliken Flooring in the local hospitality market.

Success in this role requires strong knowledge of the hospitality sales and specification process, along with established relationships within the local A&D community and key enduser segments. While the territory is independently managed, the Account Manager must also demonstrate a strong team mentality, working closely with commercial and residential sales teammates across the state of Florida to maximize market coverage, share opportunities, and deliver consistent results.

LOCATION

Orlando, FL (preferred); candidates based in other locations will be considered based on their ability to effectively support Orlando and surrounding markets

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The successful candidate will meet and exceed all revenue and growth goals assigned.
  • Develops, plans, and executes sales and marketing strategies within assigned A&D accounts and End User accounts.
  • Develops and maintains a detailed sales strategy for each target aimed at retention/penetration to gain targeted market share.
  • Establishes, develops, strengthens and maintains relationships at all levels with customers.
  • Promotes the Company brand in the marketplace.
  • Support commercial dealer channel strategies and relationships to fully maximize contracting opportunities and market coverage.
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day account management.
  • Generate product specifications and sales.
  • Identify winnable projects. Fill and maintain a workable pipeline using the Salesforce.com CRM tool.
  • Highly involved in industry trade organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • B.S./B.A. required
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience or A&D background required (experience within the Hospitality Industry preferred).
  • Prior experience with sales with customized products.
  • Well-developed communication and execution management skills.
  • Strong project management skills. Knowledge and experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.com
  • Must be a self-starter, experience with working from home office with limited supervision.
  • Must possess very strong personal presence and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of customers - from technical to non-technical.
  • Strong understanding of the custom design process.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction.
