Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking an Infrastructure Support - Systems Administrator. The role involves providing support for applications running on WebSphere, along with responsibilities for hardware and software configuration, application deployments, and maintaining infrastructure documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support for various departments’ applications running on WebSphere and IBM WebSphere MQ
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, support, and configuration of hardware and software
• Responsible for application deployments
• Maintain and update infrastructure documentation
• Complete implementation of security policies and filters associated with the tools
• Provide additional troubleshooting support
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with installation, maintenance, administration and monitoring of the WebSphere Software in a multi-platform environment (Linux and Windows) (5)
• Ability to provide proactive resolution of problems and/or alerts received by various monitoring and management systems.
• Ability to provide resolution of connectivity problems, assisting users, and debugging problems.
• Hands-on technical experience in support of software tools such as WebSphere Application Server.
• Experience with a broad range of technical skills in support of all WebSphere customers.
• Training and/or experience with scripting tools such as Bash, Korn, and Jython.
• Knowledge of change management best practices in a complex hosting environment.
