Job description

Desktop Support Engineer (2ndย Shift)โ€“ Retail (Onsite- Phoenix, AZ)ย 

We are seeking aย Desktop Support Engineerย for our global client. You will provide first level support for all end-users. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware,ย softwareย and voice/data communication systems issues. Escalate calls whenย appropriate. Write concise, informative tickets. Follow up on all ticketsย in a timely mannerย and follow through to resolution.ย 

This is a 40-hour per week, 24-month contract (possible extension), 100% onsite role in Phoenix, AZ.ย Schedule:ย 2nd shift, local time (4:00 PM โ€“ 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday),ย 

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.ย 

Responsibilities:ย 

  • Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.ย ย 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral device issues.ย ย 

  • Support deskside and remote users with installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices.ย ย 

  • Log, track, and update incidents and service requests using ticketing systems.ย ย 

  • Deliver excellent customer service while responding to user requestsย in a timely manner.ย ย 

  • Assistย with software installations, system upgrades, and user account support.ย ย 

  • Support voice/data communication systems and basic connectivity troubleshooting.ย ย 

  • Collaborate with IT teams to improve support processes and end-user experience.ย 

Requirements:ย 

  • 6+ years of experience in using ticketing systems, writing technical support documentation and computerย proficiencyย with hardware and software technologies isย required.ย ย 

  • Excellent customer service,ย verbalย and written communication skills areย a must.ย ย 

  • Prior customer service, callย centerย or help desk experience isย required.ย 

  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure areย required.ย 

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours whenย appropriate.ย ย
