SUMMARY: Next Solutions is seeking experienced and motivated Satellite Installation Technicians to support residential and commercial installation and service work throughout the Mackinaw City market, and surrounding areas.

Technicians will perform installations, upgrades, service calls, and troubleshooting for satellite television and internet services, including DIRECTV, Viasat, and Starlink systems. This opportunity is ideal for self-motivated contractors who enjoy hands-on technical work, customer interaction, and working independently in the field.

The ideal candidate has previous experience installing or servicing telecommunications equipment and is comfortable working independently in customer homes and businesses.

Successful candidates typically have experience in one or more of the following:

  • DIRECTV installation or service
  • DISH Network installation or service
  • Cable television installation
  • Broadband or internet installation
  • Viasat or Starlink installation
  • Low-voltage wiring
  • Telecommunications field service
  • Home technology installation

Candidates should be dependable, customer-focused, safety-conscious, and able to effectively troubleshoot technical issues while maintaining a professional appearance and positive customer experience.

  • A work vehicle capable of transporting installation materials and an extension ladder
  • Required hand tools and basic installation equipment
  • Smartphone or mobile device capable of supporting field service applications

WORK HOURS & LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is a field-based role requiring full-time travel to customer locations, within a <100-mile service area.
  • The typical schedule is 40-50 hours per week, including alternating weekends as needed.
