Job description

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Technical Services Regional Manager to provide strategic leadership across our multidisciplinary technical services organization. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for aligning technical resources, supporting successful project delivery, developing future leaders, and driving continuous improvement across the firm.

The Technical Services Regional Manager partners closely with business managers, project managers, and technical leaders to ensure teams are positioned to deliver exceptional work while supporting the long-term growth and success of the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Provide leadership and direction to Technical Services discipline leaders and staff. (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, CAD, Architectural, Instrumentation & Controls)ย 
  • Manage performance of the Technical Services organization, ensuring resources are optimized to meet current and projected workload demands.
  • Partner with business managers, project managers, and business development leaders to align resources and priorities.
  • Support the successful delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects, promoting efficient design delivery in accordance with Kennedy Jenks' standards and procedures while maintaining compliance with the applicable standard of care.
  • Promote technical excellence, quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration across disciplines, offices, and teams.
  • Develop, mentor, and support current and future leaders.
  • Support organizational growth, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.
We're Looking For
  • Education:ย Bachelorโ€™s degree in an Engineering field required; masterโ€™s degree preferred.ย 

  • Technicalย Experience:ย 10+ years of engineering consulting experience, preferably within water/wastewater. ย 

  • Managementย Experience:ย 4+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leaders, and project teams.ย 

  • Licensure:ย Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.ย

Location & Travel

The anticipated salary range for this position isย $170,000 - $240,000, depending on education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.
