Description
  • Providing support to the Program Manager (PM) and contracting team by performing as the Technical Writer
  • Producing, editing, and organizing data for use in a wide variety of complex technical publications requiring an understanding of the subject matter and associated concepts
  • Authoring, editing, and maintaining complex technical Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables
  • Creating, updating, and implementing fillable document templates and processes
  • Maintaining and updating technical references/documents as changes are made to subject matter
  • Ensuring document organization and layout adhere to customer or company requirements
  • Coordinating publications and reports with PM, subject matter experts, customer sources as required
  • May interview subject matter experts and write technical, proposal, and/or marketing documentation
  • Managing schedules and tracking document delivery milestones
  • May oversee other technical writers

Requirements
  • Active Secret clearance
  • 7+ years of technical writing experience supporting Department of Defense programs
  • Experience developing and implementing processes
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while paying close attention to detail
  • Ability to function independently and autonomously
  • Advanced PC skills including fluency in Office 365 applications (i.e., SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Teams) and graphics applications
  • Possess a high level of confidentiality and discretion in communications and strong professional and ethical standards
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on writing skills for various technical documents, reports, and procedures with impeccable attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to review, interpret, and consolidate technical inputs from engineers, system architects, and cybersecurity personnel
  • Bachelor's degree
