Summary:
Demonstrates leadership qualities amongst other Lab Medical Assistants through communication, education and mentoring. Promotes coordination of the team. Provides advanced support to technical staff within laboratory departments by performing manual pretesting procedures, including waived testing as required. Assists with specimen handling and preparation, and contributes to efficient lab operations through technical and administrative support. Demonstrates a high level of competency and autonomy in laboratory tasks.
