Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Technical Sales Engineer for an innovative aerospace and industrial technology manufacturing client. This is a hybrid opportunity based in the Greater Providence, Rhode Island area, with an onsite training period followed by a hybrid schedule.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to promote advanced Test & Measurement and Data Acquisition solutions across North America. This role combines consultative technical sales, business development, strategic account management, and crossโ€‘functional collaboration with engineering, quality, marketing, and product teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-driven technical sales professional who enjoys solving engineering challenges, delivering product demonstrations, and building longโ€‘term partnerships within the manufacturing industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop new business opportunities while growing and maintaining existing customer relationships throughout a domestic territory.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution-based recommendations to engineers, quality professionals, and manufacturing customers.
  • Partner with engineering, quality, marketing, and product management teams to support customer success and drive business growth.
  • Manage sales forecasting, CRM activity, pipeline reporting, and strategic account planning.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, manufacturer's representatives, channel partners, and key customer accounts.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events throughout North America.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience selling technical products or solutions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable communicating technical concepts to engineers, quality professionals, and other technical stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative sales, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience developing new business while managing and growing existing customer accounts.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and pipeline management in a collaborative environment.
