Sales Engineer - KENT WA
$115k-$165k DOE
What You'll Do
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and Algas-SDI, ensuring requirements are understood internally and commitments are realistic and profitable.
• Assess equipment needs with customers and engineers; define application requirements and scope customization.
• Perform sizing calculations, cost analysis, and build technically accurate proposals and quotations.
• Build customer-facing P&IDs that communicate our technical advantage during the proposal stage.
• Collaborate with the Gas Systems team throughout the sales cycle to align customer needs with available solutions and capacity.
• Support product and application training for customers and channel partners.
• Represent Algas-SDI at trade shows and industry events; feed market and competitive intelligence back into strategy.
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, petroleum, or related engineering — or equivalent technical experience in industrial equipment or gas systems.
• Solid experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or applications engineering, ideally with industrial or gas systems equipment.
• Comfortable reading P&IDs, technical specs, and equipment datasheets; track record building sizing calculations and technically grounded proposals.
• Strong written and verbal communication across engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage multiple active opportunities at once.
