Job Description Technical Quality Manager Prebiotic Fibers -Health and Wellness - Decatur, ILJob Summary:The Technical Quality Manager role within the ADM Technical Center and is an experienced role that has technical oversight for quality related matters relating to the supported business products, currently including Fibersol. Daily execution includes customer quality activities: Customer Requests, Complaint Resolution and response, creation, and management of technical and customer related documentation, tracking and reporting of customer metrics, and Salesforce management.This role will act as the liaison between ADM and customers on all complex documentation requests, functional and analytical issues, and provide counsel to multiple functional teams that develop, produce, market, sell, transport, and store ADM products. This position exhibits expert competence and is likely to be contacted regarding all aspects of quality support for the commercial, sales, customer service, and production teams when necessary. Direct interaction with existing and potential ADM customers is expected.Introduction, participation and adhering to existing processes as well as creation and implementation of activities to support improvement opportunities are necessary to ensure that best in class customer satisfaction is obtained. Technical Quality personnel assists with complex reviews/risk assessments in Raw Material approvals for Health and Wellness platform, plays a lead role in the innovation quality for new products and ensures existing products maintain the necessary testing information for market placement (GRAS, Countries of Sale etc). Role responsibilities will increase in complexity as knowledge and understanding is gained at product and service levels. This position reports to the Global Director of Quality Health and Wellness.Essential Job Functions:In depth knowledge and understanding of functional prebioticsComprehensive understanding of global regulations as related to supporting products with a proactive approach on current regulatory climate and ability to liaison with ADM regulatoy team for guidance on regulatory mattersPartner with Plant, R&D, Marketing/Commercial, Sales, Regulatory to ensure product compliance during new product introductions, up to and including tech transfer and supporting documentation and proceduresWrite, own, and manage product/program statements of guaranteed compliance and manage distribution of product information to customers through various communication mediumsCollaborate with Customer Quality and Production Quality to ensure customer, quality, regulatory and production expectations are understoodAssist in initiation and implementation of the preparation of new or revised product specifications, process parameters, and procedures.Content owner for safety data sheets, labels, and other technical informationDrives the development and execution of H&W "traded goods policy"/"Buy-resell", ensuring the proper coordination across ADM nutrition quality peersPlay an active role in the co-manufacturing selection, evaluation, and phase-in process for both existing and new products across the full H&W portfolioMonitor products and processes run in third-party facilities for conformance to H&W standards, ensuring (directly or through the team) prompt and thorough investigation when overall quality compliance may be compromisedAct as food safety and quality SME for the design and installation of new processes and/or equipment (with a particular focus on Capex)ADM representative for industry associations respective to business markets supportedJob Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in science-related fieldMinimum 10 years of a mixture of technical, quality, and regulatory services with experience in Biotics/Health andWellness platform preferredPCQI TrainedExcellent written and verbal communication skills with developed interpersonal skillsAbility to articulate complex regulations into common user language procedures and requirementsAbility to travelHigh regard for accuracy and attention to detailIndependent troubleshooting and ability to work without direct supervisionExcited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed?
