Job Title: Project Specialist

Job Description:
Trystar is a leader in power inverters, distribution equipment, and related services at the heart of supporting our electrical infrastructure. We are seeking a Project Specialist to support customer projects from initial request through successful completion. Reporting to the Customer Experience Projects Manager, you will have the opportunity to support all products that Trystar offers and grow your knowledge as our product range expands. The Project Specialist will partner with the Sales team and work cross functionally with Planning, Procurement and Engineering advocating for the customer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated individual who is eager to support our customers and take the next step in their career. This hybrid role is based at the Trystar corporate headquarters in Burnsville, MN.

 In this role you will get to:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Trystar’s offerings and applications
  • Work on custom solution projects, solving complex customer applications
  • Manage large customer projects from initial request to successful completion
  • Engage with cross functional partners to ensure successful completion of customer projects 
  • Establish and grow customer relationships through direct interaction and support of the Sales team
  • Maintain up to date customer information and interactions in ERP and CRM
  • Resolve all issues to client satisfaction or escalate to other departments for resolution as needed
  • Provide effective responses to all client inquiries within same business day or notify them if not possible
Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technical College Degree preferred
  • Project coordination, support or management experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Sales or Customer Experience type role
  • Strong written and spoken vocabulary and ability to communicate with customers
  • Ability to use digital tools to capture and respond to customer requests
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 – Including Power Point and Excel

  • Experience UPS, Rectifier or Inverter manufacturing
