Join Siemens Energy as a Technical Project Lead for Casing Compressor Components and play a pivotal role in shaping the reliability and performance of our Large Gas Turbine fleet. This high-impact position combines deep technical expertise, complex problem solving, and project leadership to ensure the continued success of critical casing compressor components. You'll lead key reliability initiatives, tackle challenging engineering issues, and serve as a trusted technical authority while mentoring the next generation of engineers and preserving vital organizational knowledge.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Own the toughest compressor challenges, leading root cause investigations and delivering high-impact solutions that keep the turbine fleet running at peak performance.
  • Serve as the go-to compressor expert, providing trusted technical leadership across engineering, manufacturing, field service, and project teams.
  • Drive compressor reliability and performance improvements, leading critical design changes, repairs, and product enhancement initiatives.
  • Lead complex engineering programs from concept to execution, balancing technical excellence, quality, budget, and schedule.
  • Champion continuous improvement, optimizing processes, strengthening quality, and elevating engineering standards across compressor operations.
  • Shape the next generation of expertise, mentoring engineers, reviewing critical technical work, and building lasting compressor knowledge across the organization.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, with 5-10+ years of progressive product design or operations engineering experience (exceptional candidates outside this range may also be considered).
  • Proven success leading technical teams and complex engineering projects, providing technical leadership, project oversight, and execution in engineering and technology-driven environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with compressor components, casings, rotors, or blades and vanes.
  • Strong foundation in mechanical engineering, mechanical integrity, structural analysis, the engineering design process, and design-for-manufacturing principles; knowledge of 3D CAD tools such as NX is a plus.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights, drive data-driven decisions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adaptable and resilient professional with strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, capable of building alignment across diverse stakeholders in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Available for up to 10% domestic and international travel.
