Job description

TheTechnical Project Manageris a highly execution-focused role responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across Telegent's mobile communications platform. This role drives the delivery of technical projects including carrier integrations, messaging and voice infrastructure, provisioning systems, and platform enhancements.

The Technical Project Manager partners closely with engineering, product, carrier partners, and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, meet technical requirements, and align with business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of telecom systems, APIs, and platform architecture, along with the ability to translate business needs into technical execution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives including carrier integrations, messaging (SMS/MMS), voice infrastructure, provisioning systems, and platform enhancements
  • Define project scope, technical requirements, timelines, dependencies, and success criteria in partnership with engineering and product teams
  • Translate business and customer requirements into clear technical deliverables, user stories, and execution plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, operations, and external partners to ensure seamless execution
  • Own project communication including status reporting, risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation
  • Partner with engineering on integration planning, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
  • Work with carrier partners and vendors on integrations, testing, and issue resolution
  • Support enterprise customer onboarding from a technical implementation perspective and act as a point of contact during integrations and escalations
  • Track and analyze project performance, system metrics, and delivery KPIs to drive continuous improvement

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong grasp of software development lifecycles, API integrations, and distributed systems
  • Experience in telecom and/or enterprise integrations is a strong plus
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and building structure where little exists
  • Deep experience using AI tools to improve planning, documentation, and workflow efficiency
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects with multiple dependencies
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
