Position Overview: 

The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of projects within their assigned office or region, ensuring delivery in accordance with contractual requirements, company standards, and client expectations. This role serves as a critical link between commercial, operational, and field teams, driving project performance across safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives.

Working in close collaboration with the Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Project Coordinators, and field personnel. The Project Manager leads planning, coordination, and execution activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and profitably. This role requires a strong focus on proactive communication, risk mitigation, and disciplined project controls to support consistent high-quality outcomes.


Project Execution & Operational Leadership

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor project performance through regular reviews of progress, productivity, and deliverables, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to optimize utilization and maintain project momentum.
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of project communication, decisions, and changes
  • Support field personnel by providing direction, removing obstacles, and ensuring clarity of scope and expectations.

Financial Management & Commercial Discipline

  • Manage project financial performance, ensuring execution aligns with approved budgets and profitability targets.
  • Identify, validate, and initiate change orders for out-of-scope work; coordinate with the sales team to secure customer approval prior to starting any out-of-scope work.
  • Track and manage cost drivers including labor hours, equipment usage, and subcontractor performance.
  • Support forecasting and revenue recognition through accurate project status reporting.
  • Manage the coordination, scheduling, and return of rented vehicles, equipment, test assets, and facilities to support project execution while maintaining cost control and financial accountability.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the liaison for EPS and clients, maintaining strong, professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively communicate project status, risks, schedule updates, and deliverables to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and coordination calls as required.

Safety & Compliance

  • Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all work is performed in strict compliance with company policies, industry standards, and customer requirements.
  • Verify that all testing procedures, safety protocols, and job hazard analyses are properly acknowledged.
  • Collaborate with field and safety teams to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Perform Job Behavior Observations (JBO) regularly to provide coaching for both safety and technical aspects to the field technicians.

Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight

  • Ensure all work performed meets EPS quality standards and client specifications
  • Oversee QA/QC processes, including the review and validation of test data, field reports, and project documentation.
  • Confirm that all technical deliverables are accurate, complete, and submitted in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project records for internal tracking and client reporting, including daily status reports, Request For Information (RFI) logs, daily Job Hazard Assessments (JHA’s), and test sheets. 

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen due to this being a safety sensitive position.

  • Complete a satisfactory criminal background check. 
  • Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record. 

Preferred Skills/Abilities: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience installing, maintaining, testing, or repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, or similar equipment. 

Education and Experience: 

  • 5+ Years of Relevant Industry Experience
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, or Military experience preferred 
  • NETA certified a plus 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.
