Technical Project Manager, Production Engineering - Comcast

New York - New York (Hybrid 3 days a week)

No h1B and CPT 6+ Months

Note: Tri State Candidate will work.

A media services organization is seeking a new Technical Project Manager for Production Engineering based in New York, NY / Englewood Cliffs, NJ. In this role, the Technical Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the execution of production engineering initiatives for live broadcast and media delivery systems.

About the Opportunity: Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day execution of technical projects across production engineering and infrastructure teams
  • Building and maintaining project plans, timelines, task tracking, and status reporting
  • Tracking deliverables, dependencies, and milestones to ensure projects stay on schedule
  • Supporting projects related to broadcast systems, live production workflows, and media delivery platforms
  • Managing projects and team coordination for live broadcasts, sports events, and breaking news coverage
  • Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management or Technical Coordination roles
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience supporting technical or production-related projects
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tracking systems
  • Experience in Media, Broadcast, Streaming, or Live Production environments
  • Exposure to Production Systems, such as playout, encoding, or media delivery workflows
