Job Summary
The Senior Technical Project Manager - Consumer Behavior leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives that support the Consumer Behavior organization and broader business objectives. This role partners with business and technical stakeholders to drive strategic projects, align priorities, manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications, while ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions.
The role provides leadership across multiple concurrent workstreams by creating structure, improving visibility, facilitating collaboration, and removing execution barriers to support efficient project delivery. In partnership with leadership and cross-functional teams, the Senior Technical Project Manager advances project management best practices, strengthens operational processes, and contributes to the continuous improvement of project delivery standards and organizational effectiveness.
Essential Functions
  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Consumer Behavior and related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and with a high quality of end product deliverables. Use agile or hybrid project management methodology to develop comprehensive project plans to track progress, manage risks, and report on project status to stakeholders. Partner with Product, Engineering, UX, Analytics and Business teams to maintain delivery alignment.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with regional venue, festival, and touring marketing teams, and other groups to gather requirements, define scope, project goals, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives to prioritize workloads. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the management of departmental project meetings and distribution of updates.
  • Technology integrations: Oversee the integration of marketing technology solutions from initial discovery and development through implementation, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems. Ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes to deliver positive business impact, efficiencies and compliance.
  • Road-map & workload management: Manage the Consumer Behavior road-map and workload intake and Jira Boards to ensure that all work is assigned appropriately and delivered on time to agreed requirements, including ensuring that all projects are vetted, reviewed and approved prior to any work being initiated.
  • Technical expertise: Stay current with emerging Martech trends and technologies. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to improve marketing processes and enhance customer engagement and revenue growth through technology.
  • Documentation and training: Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, and user guides. Organize and manage onboarding sessions and workshops to ensure effective adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Vendor management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and products to maximize our investment.

Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) BA/BS Degree (4-year) in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-6 years Strong project management experience in a software development setting.
  • Experience with driving complex, cross-functional expertise projects, leading multiple efforts simultaneously, with complexity and capacity-limiting factors.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development life cycle and various technology methodologies that support that life cycle.
  • Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance.
  • Experience with assessing project risks and issues and developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Strong experience with SDLC methodologies: Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/Waterfall, and Hybrid environments to manage projects and ensure that all team members are working collaboratively and efficiently.
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred but not required

Payscale: $142,280.00- $165,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
