Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to join the Program Modernization team within Compliance and Integrity. This role will be pivotal in leading the delivery of technology-enabled initiatives across the broader Corporate Affairs organization, partnering with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency, compliance, and business value. The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of project management expertise and technical acumen. This individual will be equally comfortable leading cross-functional teams, managing complex project portfolios, facilitating process improvement initiatives, and collaborating directly with technical teams to design and deliver technology solutions. The candidate should be capable of understanding system architecture, data flows, integrations, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled solutions, while effectively translating technical concepts into actionable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include:

Manage the Delivery of Projects:

  • Collaborate with business areas, SMEs, and technical developers to ensure the successful delivery of projects across the broader Corporate Affairs organization.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, track project progress against milestones, and perform cost savings analysis.
  • Assign appropriate timelines and accountability for deliverables, empowering teams to execute action plans to completion.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support rapid adjustments to strategy in response to evolving business needs.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects/initiatives concurrently.
  • Build strong working relationships and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Technical Delivery & Solution Support:

  • Partner directly with developers and engineers to understand technical designs, dependencies, and constraints well enough to plan realistic timelines and identify risk.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, document functional requirements, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and help build solutions using citizen developer / low-code platforms (e.g., QuickBase, Power Apps, Power Automate) to solve business problems.
  • Provide informed guidance on how AI and automation technologies can be applied to streamline processes, improve compliance workflows, and achieve business objectives.
  • Translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured in technical terms and technical constraints are clearly communicated to business partners.
  • Support basic data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding needs using tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI to inform project decisions.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business needs, assess solution options, and recommend technology-enabled approaches that align with organizational objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on how emerging technologies, including AI and automation, can be leveraged to improve efficiency, enhance compliance processes, and deliver business value.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and prioritization of complex projects, programs, and modernization initiatives.
  • Navigate ambiguity, organizational change, and competing priorities while driving projects to successful outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships across business and technical teams to foster collaboration, alignment, and stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Proven experience delivering technology-enabled projects involving software, automation, data, reporting, or system implementations.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen with the ability to understand system architecture, data flows, and development processes well enough to manage technical projects credibly.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Working knowledge of AI, automation, and emerging technologies, including the ability to identify practical business use cases and evaluate solution opportunities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of system integrations, APIs, databases, and data flows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively bridge technical and business audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, navigate ambiguity, and drive results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with at least one low-code platform (e.g., QuickBase, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with data management tools and technologies including SQL.
  • Experience within a highly regulated industry such as healthcare, compliance, risk management, or financial services.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or similar project management certification.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree desired OR equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
