Job description

Title: ACES Technical Project Manager

Location: Hybrid(Newark, NJ)

Duration: Full Time

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with experience in CyberSecurity and supporting on-premises and cloud applications. The ideal candidate is task-oriented, communicates effectively, collaborates well as a team member, and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency. SAP experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of large-scale enterprise application and cloud initiatives using Waterfall/Agile methodology.
  • Oversee application integrations across cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premises environments, collaborating closely with client architects, engineering teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Provide technical leadership and delivery oversight across the full engagement lifecycle.
  • Facilitate and lead technical design workshops, architecture reviews, and application assessments, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • Partner with solution architects and engineering teams to identify technical risks, dependencies, and constraints and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Perform actual vs. planned financial analysis, forecast engagement costs, and support leadership with accurate reporting.
  • Develop and manage resource-loaded project plans, tracking milestones, deliverables, and critical dependencies across concurrent client engagements.
  • Ensure clear communication of timelines, risks, technical decisions, and delivery status.
  • Coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and manage application, integration, security, and delivery risks, escalating issues as needed to protect client success.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise application and IT transformation projects.
  • Hands-on experience managing application development projects custom-built or in-house applications.
  • Experience working with complex integrations, ability to understand diverse application landscapes.
  • Highly skilled in analyzing and understanding application interfaces, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Prior experience as an Application Developer.
  • Good experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure platforms.
  • Experience delivering projects using hybrid delivery models (Waterfall and Agile).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage engagement budgets, costs, forecasts, and utilization.
  • Experience managing multiple engagements with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong expertise in risk, issue, dependency, and assumption management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive-level client stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP/CSM certification or equivalent project/program management credential.
