DSG is seeking an Electrical Associate Project Manager in our La Crosse, WI location. In this full time, hourly position, work is typically performed between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, but may vary on occasion according to business needs. As an Associate Project Manager, you will support the team in managing product orders and customer communications regarding delivery, damaged, or missing products. You will assist in coordinating bid projects and the workflow for Quotations Specialists, while contributing to a positive team culture.

A Typical Day in the Life of an Electrical Associate Project Manager at DSG:

• Assist in managing lighting and switchgear bid projects from multiple Quotations Specialists.

• Support project material purchasing and scheduling.

• Occasionally prepare estimates and bid proposals under supervision.

• Provide troubleshooting and product application assistance to customers.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve customer service issues promptly.

• Facilitate the customer ordering process and assist with quotations workload.

• Identify opportunities to promote additional product sales.

• Maintain organized quotations files and records of jobs quoted.

• Support vendor negotiations for special terms and pricing as directed.

• Follow up with sales and quoted customers to secure awarded projects.

• Assist in preparing submittals for approval.

• Address customer inquiries and complaints to ensure satisfaction.

• Write orders for customer materials and confirm delivery dates.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


A Successful Electrical Associate Project Manager Typically Has:

• 1-3 years of field experience or equivalent training in the industry.

• Basic product and technical knowledge.

• Ability to read civil drawings and specifications for projects and perform takeoffs.

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

• Active listening skills to determine customer needs.

• Experience with Eclipse ERP is a plus.
