Project Manager – Restoration
Bloomington, MN | Direct Hire | $75k - $90k

Konik is partnering with a leading restoration services company seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential and commerical building projects damaged by fire, water, or mold. This role ensures projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within scope, while maintaining strong client and field team relationships.

Restoration Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead restoration projects from start to finish, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
  • Conduct site assessments, review contracts, and confirm project readiness before kickoff.
  • Maintain project schedules and notify clients, subcontractors, and suppliers of key dates and updates.
  • Obtain building permits and schedule inspections
  • Assign subcontractors, and oversee on-site technicians for quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, change orders, and project budgets; approve invoices and ensure proper billing.
  • Serve as primary client contact, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, industry standards, and company quality guidelines.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including field logs, submittals, RFI responses, punch lists, and warranty follow-ups.

Restoration Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in project management for water, fire, or mold restoration projects.
  • Certifications in restoration (IICRC) highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and insurance processes.
  • Proficiency with Xactimate or similar estimating software.
  • Skilled in project management software, Microsoft Office, BuilderTREND, and Sage preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain), and background check.
