Technical Project Manager
Location: Pennington, New Jersey (Partial Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to support a large-scale external data transformation program. This role serves as a key liaison, managing multiple workstreams focused on data remediation, analysis, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will work within a dynamic environment, coordinating with data governance, production support, and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity and compliance with evolving standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple, simultaneous workstreams within a large-scale program, influencing stakeholders to drive progress.
  • Review and analyze data, identify data classification issues, and coordinate with transformation owners for correction.
  • Manipulate and map datasets using advanced Excel functionalities, supported by tools like Copilot, to create tactical solutions.
  • Run and extract data using predefined queries in tools like TOAD and Oracle, performing hands-on analysis of the extracted data.
  • Partner with Data Governance teams to address identified problems and provide direction to production support teams for remediation.
  • Serve as a central point of contact, facilitating communication and collaboration between various teams and lines of business.
  • Prepare and present Excel reports and data mappings to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications
Experience:
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Experience within the banking or financial services industry is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and present to senior leadership.

Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros, data mapping, pivot tables, and customizations.
  • Experience using Oracle to pull data by running existing queries.
  • Familiarity with Copilot for data analysis and solution creation.
  • Understanding of file transfer protocols.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with external data transmission.
