General Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the Adreno GPU Program Management team and drive execution across GPU AI workstreams. This role will bring structure, visibility, and cross-functional alignment across open-source AI frameworks, model onboarding, workload enablement, benchmark performance/power tracking, and next-generation GPU AI architecture.
This role is based in San Diego, CA and requires full-time onsite work (5 days per week).
What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead program management for GPU AI activities across GPU engineering teams.
  • Drive centralized tracking, demand intake, prioritization, and status reporting for GPU AI workstreams and deliverables.
  • Maintain clear ownership, milestones, dependencies, and risks across JIRA, Confluence, and related tools.
  • Run cross-functional reviews and support leadership updates through concise dashboards and reporting.
  • Coordinate execution across framework enablement, workload analysis, kernel optimization, stack integration, and pre-/post-silicon planning.
  • Drive process improvements that improve execution efficiency and accountability.

Minimum Skills
  • 10+ years of HW/SW engineering experience, including technical program management or engineering program execution.
  • Experience in AI/ML, graphics, or system performance-related HW/SW development environments.
  • Familiarity with ASIC/IP development processes and cross-functional execution across hardware and software teams.
  • Experience with planning, dependency management, risk tracking, and milestone execution.
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and leadership audiences.

Please note: This is not an IT Program/Project Manager role; it is a technical program role supporting GPU AI engineering execution.
Preferred Skills
  • PMP and/or Agile certification.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks or open-source ecosystems such as llama.cpp, TVM/MLC, LiteRT, WebGPU, or IREE.
  • Experience with open-source enablement, CI/regression, upstreaming, or framework integration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment with overlapping priorities and distributed teams.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
