Hybrid Work Policy

We’re a hybrid company with a focus on in‑person collaboration when necessary. Employees are expected to be available to work from one of our office hubs at least two days per week, or eight days per month. Role Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual as an Individual Contributor to join our Technical Program Management team in BetterUp’s Research & Development organization. The ideal candidate has a track record of successfully owning high business‑impact projects from inception to execution and rollout. You will be responsible for driving multiple product‑led programs and projects, as well as managing dependencies and stakeholders from our partner teams. Your ability to handle ambiguity, make informed decisions, and create clarity for teams will be crucial in delivering successful outcomes for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in program management, exceptional communication and leadership skills, strong project management expertise, and the ability to influence and inspire cross‑functional teams. (Past product or engineering management experience is a plus.).

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, solutions engineering, or partner integrations
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of APIs, platform architecture, data integrations, and system workflows
  • Experience working with Product, Design, Engineering, Data and GTM teams with a thorough understanding of product and software development processes
  • Proven, illustrated track record of successfully delivering complex programs, projects, or products at scale
  • Comfortable operating in regulated or high‑stakes environments
  • Strong decision‑making abilities, capable of resolving critical problems
  • Strong leadership skills, including collaboration, relationship‑building, bridging gaps between teams, influencing without authority, and demonstrating empathy towards business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering teamwork and trust
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate to diverse audiences—including technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of the impact when changes occur to scope or timeline

Salary Range

The base salary range for this role is as follows.

  • New York City and San Francisco: $164,000 - $205,000
  • Austin and Arlington: $147,000 - $184,000
