The Opportunity

ShyftLabs is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager - Cybersecurity to support one of our leading enterprise clients. In this role, you will lead the delivery of large-scale cybersecurity programs that strengthen enterprise security capabilities while partnering with cross-functional engineering, security, and business teams.

This is an opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives within a complex enterprise environment, helping drive strategic security programs from planning through execution. The ideal candidate is a strong technical program leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at managing multiple stakeholders, and is comfortable balancing Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex cybersecurity and technology programs, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, resource allocation, and stakeholder communications across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Drive Agile delivery by serving as a Scrum Master or Agile lead, facilitating ceremonies, managing backlogs, and coaching teams on Agile best practices.
  • Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, compliance, and business stakeholders to translate technical requirements into actionable delivery plans.
  • Monitor program health through delivery metrics, risk management, milestone tracking, and executive reporting, providing leadership with clear visibility into progress and key decisions.
  • Identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies, risks, and roadblocks while fostering collaboration across technical and business teams.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies based on program requirements and organizational needs.
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale technical programs or projects within enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering or technology initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex dependencies across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or an equivalent project management certification.
Nice to Have
  • Experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity or information security programs.
  • Familiarity with Application Security, Security Operations, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Privacy.
  • Understanding of modern security practices, including Secure SDLC, vulnerability management, threat modeling, Zero Trust, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Experience integrating security tooling and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working within enterprise PMOs or large-scale program governance environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Salary Range
$120,000 - $140,000 (CAD)
