Job Summary: Supports production teams by optimizing processes, improving quality, and assisting with equipment layout or troubleshooting.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Process Improvement: Assist in identifying bottlenecks, improving workflow efficiency, and implementing Lean or Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Documentation & Standards: Update standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and PFMEAs.
  • Production Support: Troubleshoot equipment, support new product launches, and assist with assembly line setups.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Tools & Layout: Assist with CAD design for fixtures, tooling, or plant layout changes

Qualification:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, 5S, and Lean concepts is often preferred

Health & Safety:

  • Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
  • Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company
