Job description

Job Summary:

The Total Rewards Delivery Manager owns the end-to-end delivery, configuration, and optimization of the Oracle Fusion Cloud platform supporting Global Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, and Workforce Compensation. This role serves as the primary technology delivery lead for the Total Rewards portfolio, partnering closely with Product Management and Business Leadership to translate strategic priorities into scalable, compliant, and well-governed platform solutions. This role is a key contributor to Evolve, the organization's multi-year program to transform Total Rewards technology by migrating from legacy PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud. The Delivery Manager partners with business and technology leaders to align delivery priorities with organizational objectives while ensuring quality, schedule, cost, and risk commitments are achieved.


Essential Functions:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery roadmap for Oracle Fusion modules spanning Global Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, and Workforce Compensation.
  • Manage the full delivery lifecycle - requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post go-live support - for enhancements and defect resolution.
  • Evaluate, test, and implement Oracle quarterly releases, patches, and new features with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications and manage prioritization of the delivery backlog in partnership with Product.
  • Serve as the primary technology delivery liaison to Product Management and Business Leadership across Payroll, Benefits, Absence, and Compensation functions.
  • Lead governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder reviews to align on roadmap, risk, and dependencies.
  • Act as an escalation point for delivery risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies impacting Total Rewards technology.
  • Manage a team led by 2 IS Managers, providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight across the Total Rewards application delivery organization.
  • Coordinate with Oracle, systems integrators, and third-party vendors; own vendor SLAs, escalations, and delivery quality.
  • Manage vendor integrations, ensuring reliable, secure data exchange between Oracle Fusion and third-party providers.
  • Work closely with Platform and Domain Architects to ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture standards, scalability requirements, and long-term platform strategy.
  • Work closely with the Application Managed Services team to monitor performance, triage incidents, and ensure business SLAs are consistently met.
  • Maintain delivery documentation, testing protocols, and change management artifacts in support of audit and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and drive automation and process optimization opportunities across the Total Rewards technology stack.
  • Evaluate and pilot Oracle Fusion's native AI and machine learning capabilities across Payroll, Benefits, Absence, and Compensation processes

AI & Innovation

  • Evaluate and pilot Oracle Fusion's native AI and machine learning capabilities (e.g., intelligent document recognition, anomaly detection, AI-assisted case resolution) across Payroll, Benefits, Absence, and Compensation processes.
  • Partner with Product and Business Leadership to identify AI-driven opportunities to improve service delivery, reduce manual effort, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Stay current on Oracle's AI roadmap and emerging generative AI capabilities within Fusion Cloud, assessing fit for the Total Rewards portfolio and incorporating viable use cases into the Evolve roadmap.

Supervisory or Management Responsibility:

  • Manages a team led by 2 IS Managers. Management responsibility includes hiring, leadership, development, and accountability for performance. Plans and develops the people organization through coaching and mentoring, succession planning, and proactive identification of resource gaps for a team of direct and indirect reports.

Budget Responsbility:

  • Approves and reviews budgets and operational expenditures. Shares fiscal responsibility for the organization's technology investments and future planning of spend to avoid unnecessary and duplicative services and maximize ROI. Establishes a clear cost-of-service model and drives business cases for taking cost out of transactional processes through automation or AI.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in HRIS/HR technology delivery, including 3+ years working directly with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Global Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, and Compensation modules.
  • Demonstrated experience managing global, cross-functional technology delivery programs.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements related to global payroll and benefits.

  • Strong delivery and program leadership capabilities with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven success partnering with Product Management and Business Leadership.

Salary Range:
