Role Summary:
This is a plastics process-focused technical role. The position functions as a floor-level technical lead / senior setup technician who:
Performs machine setup and changeovers (mold changes, mode changes)
Adjusts machine programs and process parameters (cycle time, temperature, pressure, weight, density specs)
Troubleshoots process-related defects and performs root cause analysis
Works to reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and minimize downtime
Monitors process data and ensures specs stay within required ranges
Trains operators and junior technicians
Assists with new equipment launches
