What is a technical interviewer?

A Technical Interviewer is responsible for assessing candidates' technical skills and knowledge during the hiring process. They design and conduct interviews, asking questions related to coding, system design, algorithms, or domain-specific topics. Their goal is to evaluate problem-solving abilities, technical proficiency, and cultural fit within the company. Technical Interviewers often collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a technical interviewer?

To thrive as a Technical Interviewer, you need a solid understanding of relevant technical domains, experience in evaluating coding or engineering skills, and often a background in software development or a related field. Familiarity with online coding assessment platforms, applicant tracking systems, and video conferencing tools is typically essential. Strong interpersonal communication, objectivity, and critical thinking are standout soft skills for this role. These abilities ensure fair, effective technical evaluations and create a positive candidate experience while meeting hiring standards.

What are some of the typical challenges faced by technical interviewers, and how can they be managed?

Technical Interviewers often face the challenge of accurately evaluating a candidate's technical skills within a limited time frame while minimizing bias and ensuring consistency. Balancing technical rigor with a supportive interview atmosphere can be demanding, especially when candidates have varying backgrounds or levels of experience. Developing clear evaluation rubrics, ongoing training, and collaborating with engineering and recruiting teams help address these challenges. Staying updated with industry trends also ensures that the interview process remains relevant and effective.

Job description

The Opportunity
Join Adobe as the Senior Product Manager for Adobe for Business! This position gives you the opportunity to own the web strategy and roadmap for Adobe's Content Supply Chain solutions, shaping how we bring product launches and feature announcements to market and building the digital journeys that drive organic growth and engaged visits at scale, and help make business.adobe.com the showcase of the agentic website of the future.
This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and engineering - equal parts strategist, program driver, and hands-on builder. You'll work across a highly matrixed organization and be expected to move things forward with or without formal authority.
What you'll Do
  • Own the end-to-end web strategy for our Content Supply Chain solution and products
  • Build and maintain a 6-12 month roadmap that balances business priorities, user needs, and technical constraints
  • Drive the web marketing strategy, coordinating across product marketing, demand gen, and web teams to ship on time and on brief
  • Identify and prioritize site improvements that increase engaged visit rate
  • Lead cross-functional programs from inception through delivery, providing clear structure, decision frameworks, and ownership of the outcome
  • Craft digital journeys that convert organic traffic into meaningful engagement, working closely with SEO, content, and marketing teams
What you need to succeed
  • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in web, digital marketing, or B2B SaaS environments
  • MBA preferred, or equivalent business experience
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end web programs and content delivery in an agile environment
  • Strong analytical abilities - comfortable pulling your own data, sizing opportunities, and presenting trade-offs clearly
  • Communication that scales: equally effective presenting to senior team members and working through ambiguity with a scrappy cross-functional team
  • Experience operating in matrixed organizations where influence matters more than org chart
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud, content management platforms, or marketing technology ecosystems
  • Nice to have: Experience with SEO-driven content strategy or organic growth programs
