We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator, Technical Interface located in Houston, TX.
Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Coordinator, Technical Interface supporting the Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) scope for the Power Island systems. This role will coordinate with internal engineering teams and external OEMs to manage document submittals, reviews, revisions, transmittals, and records retention. The position requires close collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional project teams. The ideal candidate will ensure proper version control, maintain document registers, track review cycles, and support interface documentation across multiple complex equipment packages to enable successful project execution. The Coordinator, Technical Interface is accountable for ensuring adherence to company standards and processes and will be assigned to support project teams across various offices as needed.
General Description Duties & Responsibilities
Governance and Control

  • Ensure the effective application of Venture Global LNG's Document Control processes, procedures, numbering standards, tools, and systems.
  • Perform document activities for assigned OFE Power Island contracts, including management of all drawings, correspondence, internal documentation, final project documentation, and other project related records.
  • Provide oversight and assurance that the Contractor's Document Control function conforms to and complies with Venture Global LNG's Document Control standards.
  • Utilize and share lessons learned in alignment with Venture Global LNG's best practices.
  • Respond to documentation related inquiries and status requests in a timely manner.
  • Manage contractors to ensure timely delivery of documents in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Ensure all information is handed over in compliance with Venture Global LNG's Document Control requirements, operational business needs, and the overall project schedule

Interfaces
  • Develop and maintain effective interfaces with contractors and key internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the OFE Document Management function at relevant project meetings and workshops.
  • Support and promote document management standardization objectives through training and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Liaise regularly with Contractor Document Control personnel and other contractors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the project team regarding project documentation and associated systems/applications.

Administration
  • Perform quality assurance tasks to ensure contractor adhere to contract documentation requirement
  • Deliver efficient, effective, and secure management of documents and Project Team support that includes document capture, quality assessment, rejection as applicable, coding, updating, review routing, distribution to ensure that project documents adhere to the deliverable requirements.
  • Oversee the application of document numbers and the delivery of documents to meet project requirements to both internal project team members and Contractors
  • Daily contact with Venture Global LNG Document Control team members and OFE Power Island team members.
  • Proactive in addressing or sharing issues with others who can address them

Qualifications
Required Experience
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Document Controller
  • Relevant professional experience gained from job role(s) related to engineering document management on projects or business assets
  • Experience using electronic document management systems for processing of documentation and controlling and reporting project data.
  • Advanced understanding of Engineering Technical Documentation (Types and Disciplines)

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Power Generation / Oil and Gas / LNG sector
  • Previous experience in a Client / Operator role
  • Prior experience with Onshore, Offshore and LNG projects preferred

Required Skills:
  • Sound knowledge of Information and Document Management processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, across the whole project irrespective of seniority, organizational or contractual boundaries
  • High level of self-motivation
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills •
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of software
