Description:

The Senior Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining interfaces between various healthcare systems. The Senior Integration Engineer will work closely with clients, project managers and other team members to deliver high-quality integration solutions that meet the needs of our customers.


What you’ll do:

  • Design, development, installation, tuning, and maintenance of middleware applications (such as Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Iguana, etc…)
  • Analyze requirements to implement effective middleware architecture, resolve technical issues, and optimize performance
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and understand integration needs
  • Coordinate with application development and cross-functional technical teams to enable and support integrations
  • Define and document technical designs and system configurations
  • Develop detailed interface specifications and documentation
  • Configure Rhapsody Integration Engine to meet client requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to interfaces and data exchange
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams
  • Guide junior analysts on technical processes and problems
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in healthcare IT and integration technologies
  • Participate in team meetings, project planning, and knowledge sharing activities
  • Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of college and experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with Rhapsody Integration Engine or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT standards and protocols (HL7, FHIR, DICOM, etc.)
  • Experience in healthcare information systems (EMR/HER, HIS, LIS, RIS, etc.)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and SQL
  • Experience with API technologies and practices (REST, SOAP)
  • 5+ years of experience in writing technical specifications in HL7, JSON, FHIR, C-CDA, and working knowledge and awareness of emerging standards
  • Knowledge and understanding of HL7, messaging standards, and enterprise level interface integration technologies (specifically, Rhapsody)
