Job Requirements

Position Summary

The Technical Enterprise Administrator II's main role is to understand the business requirements and to design and document the functional and, often, technical implementation of the software / IT system. The Technical Enterprise Admin II also helps solve complex problems and issues with existing systems through research of these systems, reviews, data analysis, etc. The Technical Enterprise Admin II manages enterprise system deployments and demonstrates understanding of interfaces and system integration. Tier 2 Support for enterprise applications include, but are not limited to: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft System Configuration Manager (SCCM) Imprivata, Mobile Device Management (Imprivata Mobile Access Management, Workspace ONE), Third-party patching applications..

 

The Technical Enterprise Admin II participates in activities required for successful implementation, maintenance, and support of the administrative, ambulatory, and/or clinical systems. On-call coverage is provided as needed. 

Project management tasks include project planning; system design, build and testing; end user training and pre-live planning; and system live and support transition. Analyzes source and content of data.  Works with consultants and vendors as required. Works closely with help desk, network/technical support, operations and other IS support personnel for troubleshooting and coordinating plans for software upgrades and the installation of new products. 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Studies, Mathematics, or related studies
  • 10 years of equivalent specific admin experience with a high school diploma will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree

Experience

  • 5 years of IT related work experience

License/Registration/Certifications

N/A

  • 7 to 10 years of related IT experience; and/or equivalent IT certifications

Tier Two support (advanced research and analysis of complex issues and requests involving system research and/or other IS areas)

Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot problems of high complexity

Acts as backend expert support and manages advanced technical challenges

Effectively facilitates meetings across IS teams

Produces effective presentations

Demonstrates ability to influence customer decision making

Updates and maintains formal visual diagram of system architecture and interfaces

Evaluates and recommends needed modifications to third party software applications

Translates client requirements into project scope documents; demonstrates ability to use project management tools

Assists in developing requests for proposal (RFP) from vendors as needed

Demonstrates understanding of deployment methodologies including but not limited to desktop environment, server environment, and integrated technologies

Demonstrates knowledge of sending and/or receiving systems

Demonstrates advanced integration troubleshooting skills

Provides education across teams

Demonstrates strong technical skills, excellent troubleshooting and debugging abilities, solid technical writing skills, system modeling/documentation skills

Ability to apply consultative skills to assess user needs and communicate technology systems and solutions

Manages intermediate to large projects in scope

Suggests methods to enhance system design and functionality based on customer feedback, testing scenarios or support issues.

Demonstrates basic report writing skills

Develops and performs integrated and complex testing scenarios

Ensures test and QA plans exists and are performed

Aware of healthcare/IS industry trends and vendor offerings outside of department or area of expertise

Seeks opportunities for process improvement within IS team and division

Defines and monitors team goals and KPIs

Works under limited supervision
