Job description

Position Title: Field Service Technician
Turn your technical expertise into a career where you own your territory, solve real problems, and become an expert in specialized industrial technology. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced industrial coding, marking, and printing equipment throughout an established regional territory. This hands-on role combines electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, customer support, and independent field work, with extensive training provided on proprietary technology.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated technical professional with strong electrical, electronics, or mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working independently, and building trusted relationships with customers.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 / Year, DOE, plus overtime and performance-based bonus opportunities
Responsibilities
  • Monitor equipment performance and proactively identify potential issues before they result in significant downtime
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair industrial printing, coding and marking equipment, including electrical, mechanical and software-related components
  • Perform preventative maintenance, component replacement, cleaning and routine servicing to maximize equipment reliability
  • Manage daily service activity independently across an assigned regional territory while responding effectively to customer needs
  • Create and maintain accurate work orders, service cases, and detailed documentation of equipment issues and resolutions
  • Manage replacement parts and supplies inventory, ordering additional components as necessary
  • Communicate technical issues and recommended solutions clearly to customers while delivering responsive, professional service

Requirements
  • 4-6 years of relevant technical, field service, maintenance, or military experience; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered in place of a degree
  • Strong electrical, electronics, mechanical or technical maintenance background
  • Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex industrial or commercial equipment
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical and software components within technical equipment
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, organize daily priorities and take ownership of equipment performance
  • Willingness to travel for an initial 10-day technical training program and learn proprietary systems and processes

Benefits
  • Medical coverage through PPO and HDHP plan options
  • 401(k) with company match
  • 10 vacation days, 5 sick days, and 2 floating holidays
  • Company vehicle available for both business and personal use
  • Company-provided phone and $75 monthly home internet stipend
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours, including eligible travel time
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities, with average annual bonuses ranging from approximately $7,000-$9,000 and higher earning potential for exceptional performance

If you are a hands-on problem solver who takes ownership, thrives independently, and wants to build expertise in advanced industrial technology, apply today and take the next step in your field service career.
