Job description

DFIR Engagement Manager
The Opportunity:
You know that project managers touch every single part of a business and wear multiple hats: from caring for the client and their meaningful project goals to participating in business development and being a key contributor to their employees' growth. We're looking for someone like you to help our clients meet their mission by providing crisis management and leadership for our commercial clients experiencing a cyber breach event.
As a leader on our team, you'll oversee the delivery of high volume, high impact emergency incident response engagements. As you help to coordinate multiple Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) delivery team activities, you'll partner with clients to gather scoping information, deliver updates, resolve issues, and help them manage their cyber crisis. You'll move quickly in an exciting, high volume, and fluid environment to lead the Agile development of a project roadmap, milestones, and metrics to track progress while working to coordinate multiple DFIR teams, on-site recovery teams, clients, and counsel to ensure that the cyber crisis response activities remain on-track, status and actions are collected and communicated effectively, and client needs are met.
Work with us to transform the future of DFIR as we help commercial and critical infrastructure companies around the world scope, respond, investigate, and recover from major cyber attacks.
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with progressive project management, including managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently
  • Experience in cyber incident response or digital forensics
  • Experience supporting the cybersecurity industry in a privacy law firm or cybersecurity incident response environment
  • Experience with project management and PMO processes, including project planning, resource planning, monthly finance projections, and change requests
  • Ability to pick up in-flight projects and drive to completion
  • Ability to communicate abstract and technical concepts to multiple types of customers and law firms, including cyber warfare and sensitive information, in clear, concise, and accessible ways
  • Ability to pivot and respond to unpredictability and challenging chaos from the customer during fast-paced crisis events
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams, analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, and communicate effectively and confidently
  • Ability to read, stay ahead of, and de-escalate customers in crisis scenarios while guiding towards minimal impact in full crisis situations, including iterating to customers best-case resolutions from complicated scenarios
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working for a management firm or privacy law firm
  • Experience working across different commercial industries, including financial services, manufacturing, or energy
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a related field
  • PMP Certification
  • CCE, EnCE, CFCE, ACE, CISSP, GCIA, GCFE, GCFA, GREM, or GNFA Certification
