Job description

POSITION:  JROTC Instructor: Either Senior Army Instructor (SAI) or Army Instructor (AI)

  • SAI: Chief instructor of the JROTC unit. Officer rank: CPT/O-3 - COL/O-6, minimum 8 years in the Army. Candidates for this position must possess at least a BA/BS degree and must be certified by Cadet Command.
  • AI: Instructor of the JROTC unit. NCO rank: SSG/E-6 - CSM/E-9, minimum 8 years in the Army. Candidates for this position must possess at least an AA or AS degree and must be certified by Cadet Command.
     

REPORTS TO:  Career Technical and Education Department Chair
 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Military certification as a JROTC instructor per guidance at U.S. Army Cadet Command.
 

SALARY:  JROTC instructor pay is calculated in accordance with U.S. Army Cadet Command.
 

*A coaching differential pay is offered per Pekin Community High School pay chart in addition to instructor pay while coaching JROTC extracurricular activities.
