[Job Summary]
The Sales Assistant supports the sales team in driving Cisco networking product and solution sales. This role assists with preparing quotes, managing customer requests, coordinating with Cisco vendors, and ensuring smooth internal operations throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support & Coordination
- Assist sales managers with Cisco product, Server & storage quotes, pricing requests, and deal registrations.
- Prepare, update, and revise quotations (BOMs, configurations, services).
- Track approval processes for discounts, promotions, and special pricing.
- Coordinate with Cisco distributors, AM/SE teams, and internal departments to obtain necessary information.
2. Customer Communication
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, specifications, lead times, and order status.
- Support account managers in scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and responding to RFP/RFQ requirements.
- Provide professional customer service and timely follow-ups.
3. Order & Documentation Management
- Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and order status updates.
- Ensure all documents (quotes, POs, contracts, SOWs) are accurate and properly archived.
- Monitor Cisco system updates such as lead time changes, EOL notices, and product updates.
4. Cisco Tools & Systems
- Use Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) for quoting and pricing management.
- Assist with Deal Registration and Lifecycle Incentives (LCI) tasks when needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cisco products, programs, and guidelines.
5. Administrative & Internal Support
- Support sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline tracking.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to confirm delivery schedules and shipment tracking.
- Assist in preparing sales materials, documentation, and internal reports.

Requirements

Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Basic understanding of networking products (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred:
- Experience with Cisco products or CCW
