Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid โ€“ 3 Days Remote / 2 Days Onsite: Wednesdays & Fridays)

Position Overview

The State of Texas is seeking an experienced Technical Data Warehouse Project Manager to lead enterprise data engineering and AI adoption initiatives. This role requires an experienced Technical Project Manager with deep knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, Cloud Technologies, Analytics, and Enterprise Data Platforms.

The selected candidate will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate business and technical stakeholders, oversee project execution, monitor deliverables, and ensure successful implementation of complex enterprise data solutions.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 14+ years of IT experience with extensive Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience managing Technical Data Warehouse and Data Engineering projects.
  • Experience leading Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Enterprise Data Warehouse initiatives.
  • Strong background managing Business Intelligence, Big Data, Analytics, and Cloud projects.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
  • Experience managing enterprise Data Engineering and Cloud Platform initiatives.
  • Experience with AI/ML, Advanced Analytics, or Digital Transformation projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, enterprise architecture, and information management principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
