Client: Financial Giant Firm

Role: Technical Writer AEM

Duration: 04 Months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance)

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054 - Hybrid 3 Day Onsite

Pay: ($50 - $55) on an hourly basis

Note: Open to relocating candidates.

Job Overview:



  • We are seeking a Technical Writer with hands-on Ad_obe Experience Manager (AEM) Guides and DITA experience to support an enterprise documentation team.

  • The role will focus on creating, maintaining, migrating, and publishing structured technical content as the team transitions from Ado_be FrameMaker to AEM Guides.


Responsibilities:



  • Create, edit, maintain, and publish technical documentation using AEM Guides.

  • Develop and manage DITA/XML-based structured content.

  • Support migration of documentation from FrameMaker to AEM Guides.

  • Manage reusable topics, book structures, and publication workflows.

  • Create and maintain tables, images, conditional references, and structured topics.

  • Review migrated content for accuracy, consistency, and quality.

  • Collaborate with engineers, technical teams, and SMEs to validate documentation.

  • Track assignments, priorities, and deliverables through team workflows.

  • Provide project status updates and identify potential blockers.


Qualifications:



  • 4+ years of Technical Writing / Documentation experience.

  • Hands-on AEM Guides experience.

  • Experience with DITA/XML and structured authoring.

  • Experience developing complex technical documentation and managing reusable content.

  • Understanding of documentation lifecycle and publishing workflows.

  • Experience with Confluence and SharePoint.


Preferred:



  • Ado_be FrameMaker experience.

  • FrameMaker-to-AEM Guides migration experience.

  • Jira and Agile/Kanban experience.

  • CMS experience.

  • Enterprise documentation library experience.

  • PDF production and publishing experience.
