At Park Veterinary Hospital, weโ€™re proud to provide advanced medical, surgical, and urgent care services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Our busy 8-doctor hospital is continuing to grow, and weโ€™re looking for a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician with a strong interest in surgery and anesthesia to join our team.

Surgical & Anesthesia Responsibilities

  • Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and patients for procedures
  • Assist with surgical induction, intubation, anesthesia setup, and monitoring
  • Monitor anesthesia throughout procedures and oversee patient recovery
  • Maintain accurate anesthesia and surgical records
  • Ensure surgical equipment is properly maintained and stocked

Clinical RVT Duties

  • Support triage and urgent care workflow as needed
  • Accurately document treatments, patient updates, and medical notes
  • Safely restrain and handle patients with compassion and confidence

  • Help maintain a clean, efficient, team-oriented hospital environment

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Current RVT license in North Carolina
  • 1โ€“3 years of hands-on technician experience preferred
  • Strong interest and confidence in surgery and anesthesia monitoring
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting with rotating weekends
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive within a collaborative team
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to continue learning
  • Bonus points for Fear-Free certification and advanced anesthesia or surgical CE

  • Generous PTO, paid parental leave, and holiday pay
  • Annual scrub allowance
  • Free RACE-approved CE platform with technician-focused content
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Personal pet care discounts + Pet Insurance Discounts
  • One-on-one mentorship and training opportunities
  • Positive, supportive, team-focused culture
