About the Job

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Location: Arlington Heights, IL (3 days Onsite) Experience: 8+ Years

About the Role: We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agile development methodologies, software development lifecycles, and requirements gathering. You will play a crucial role in bridging business needs with technical execution, ensuring smooth collaboration between business stakeholders, development teams, and product management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, document user stories, and ensure clarity in technical and functional requirements.
  • Convert technical & architecture user stories into well-defined engineering tasks.
  • Plan and maintain user stories and technical tasks ahead of 2-3 sprints.
  • Identify user personas and define functional requirements accordingly.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to manage scope creep, assess feasibility, and provide level of effort analysis.
  • Ensure ticket backlog grooming and maintain a prioritized product roadmap.
  • Coordinate across multiple enterprise-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles (Agile, SDLC, Testing).
  • Experience in defining epics, stories, and tasks for client-facing products.
  • Proven ability to work in large matrix organizations with multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Agile certification (preferred).
  • AWS certification (a plus).
