Job description

Position Summary:

The Electromechanic Technician is responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic automated systems. The role requires troubleshooting skills, the ability to read technical diagrams, and basic knowledge of ABB robots. The technician will support maintenance documentation, use CMMS and Microsoft Office tools, and help ensure reliable operation of industrial equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
  • Support basic 2D and 3D drawings in SolidWorks for fabrication and maintenance improvements.
  • Help organize and track spare parts inventory and support basic CNC or 3D printing tasks as needed for maintenance projects.
  • Use and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.
  • Operate and interpret data from CMMS systems, ensuring accurate recording of maintenance activities and supporting KPIs such as MTTR and MTBF.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools, including OneDrive, Microsoft Forms, and Excel, to support maintenance documentation.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by creating designs and technical documentation for maintenance projects.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Technical/Associate Degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Maintenance, Robotics, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial Maintenance
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks 2D and 3D design and basic technical drawings
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, basic macros), OneDrive, and Microsoft Forms.
  • Understanding of maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF) and experience with CMMS.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience or basic knowledge of ABB robots; expert-level programming or maintenance experience is not required.
  • Familiarity with sensors such as Keyence and SICK, thermocouples, thermal cameras, and air leak detection.
