Job description

Primary Function:
We are currently seeking a Technical Product Trainer. The Technical Product Trainer is responsible for establishing an effective presence and actively managing and enhancing customer relationships by providing technical training, guidance and support to the applications, sales, and field service processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the internal and external sales organization by managing the customer relationship through technical training and assistance
  • Provide critical input to the product engineering process
  • Ensure compliance with warranty and service procedures through on-site customer visits and educational/training activities
  • Supports the installation, configuration, and field repair of products, equipment, and systems
  • Troubleshoots, investigates, and resolves technical problems that arise during equipment installations
  • Provides customer support and training on product and the features of the equipment customers have purchased or plan to purchase
  • Host and/or participate in customer factory visits and customer appreciation activities to build positive and deep customer relationships and loyalty
  • Facilitates and conducts plant tours for customers, showcasing manufacturing capabilities, quality processes, and product expertise to support sales and strengthen customer relationships.

Job Requirements:
  • Associate degree or technical certifications in HVAC/R, mechanical systems, or other related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a technician within related trades
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing position
  • Minimal travel required, less than 10%
