Technology Alignment Manager (TAM) – “Bridge IT strategy and hands‑on execution to support clients with excellence.”

We are seeking a Technology Alignment Manager (TAM) who thrives in both the boardroom and the server room. This hybrid role blends client‑facing IT strategy with hands‑on technical work, supporting our mission to deliver secure, aligned, and high-performing environments for clients in manufacturing and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) pursuing CMMC compliance.

You’ll perform regular onsite alignment visits, lead standards reviews, execute project deployments, and serve as the client’s primary technical advocate. This is an ideal role for someone who understands MSP operations, enjoys building relationships, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

At Alpha & Omega, we live by our values: Happy, Hungry, Humble, and Honest. If you’re ready to be part of a growing MSSP with a passion for excellence and community impact, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct regular onsite client visits for Technical Alignment Reviews, asset audits, and standards enforcement.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and misalignments in client environments using a defined IT standards framework.
  • Translate findings into clear business recommendations and work with the vCIO to develop technology roadmaps.
  • Assist with project execution and implementation of technical recommendations (e.g., firewall deployments, server upgrades, network overhauls).
  • Provide hands‑on support for escalated issues or onsite requests, serving as a trusted technical presence.
  • Document findings, update configurations, and maintain alignment checklists in IT Glue and Autotask.
  • Collaborate closely with service, project, and vCIO teams to drive consistency and client satisfaction.
Key Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in a technical or client‑facing role.
  • Strong technical skills in Windows Server, Office 365, networking (VLANs, firewalls, VPNs), and backup systems.
  • Experience supporting compliance‑focused environments (e.g., NIST 800‑171, CMMC, HIPAA) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service, documentation, and communication skills—able to explain technical topics to business leaders.
  • Capable of performing light project work onsite (rack/stack, firewall replacement, switch configs, workstation setups).
  • Familiarity with Autotask, IT Glue, and N‑able or similar tools.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 are a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to lift 50–75 lbs for onsite work.
Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a team that’s passionate about mission‑minded IT support and cybersecurity excellence.
  • Enjoy a diverse role where no two days are the same—strategy today, hands‑on tech tomorrow.
  • Support meaningful clients building America’s defense supply chain—and help keep them secure.
  • Thrive in a culture that’s focused on growth, giving back, and being the First and Last of All Your Technical Needs.
