About the Job:

Embark on a rewarding career journey as an IT Technician, where you will play a critical role in supporting the technology infrastructure that powers our business operations. The IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support, managing IT service tickets, maintaining hardware and software systems, and supporting cybersecurity initiatives across the organization.

In this role, you will troubleshoot technical issues, support end users, maintain secure and reliable systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology performance and security standards are met. This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while supporting systems that contribute to mission-critical military and industrial products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide technical support for servers, desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment and peripheral equipment.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software systems.
  • Support user onboarding/offboarding, account setup, and access management.
  • Maintain inventory of assets and equipment.
  • Assist with network connectivity and basic infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and apply software updates, patches, and antivirus protections.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives, including MFA, endpoint security, phishing awareness, and incident response activities.
  • Document technical procedures, system configurations, and issue resolutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support business technology needs.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting Windows operating systems, desktop/laptop hardware, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Working knowledge of RBAC user account administration, networking concepts and security concepts.
  • Experience using IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to work onsite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, network infrastructure, VPN connectivity, and hardware imaging/deployment.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity initiatives, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and endpoint security solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or manufacturing software environments.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or related technical certifications.
  • Prior experience with inventory tracking and IT asset management systems.
