CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
4 10-hour shifts per week, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. On-call required one week night per week and one weekend per month.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular surgery and will be responsible for providing sterile assistance during surgical procedures within the cardiovascular operating room.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, and endovascular surgeries.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field and surgical instruments.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical staff.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend surgeries.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations within the operating room.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle the demands of a high-paced surgical environment.
