These trainees often participate in structured programs offered by companies, educational institutions, or bootcamps, where they receive hands-on experience in areas such as software development, IT support, or data analysis. The aim is to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to transition into full-time technical positions. Tech trainees may come from various educational backgrounds and are typically early in their careers or looking to transition into the tech industry.

Job description

Graduate / Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Location: Tampa, Florida

Salary: $45,000 starting salary (rising to $50,000 after training) + uncapped commission

If youโ€™re looking for a career that combines serious earning potential with real progression, but within a business that still feels energetic, ambitious and growing, this is your opportunity!!

This is an established, international tech recruitment company with a strong global presence. Now, alongside its core technology markets, the business is expanding into construction, engineering, and energy/renewables, opening up huge growth potential in the US.

The Tampa office is currently a small, high-performing team with big plans to scale to 15 heads by the end of the year.

That means opportunity.

Joining now puts you at the heart of the growth journey, not as โ€œnumber 47โ€ in a fully built office!

Youโ€™ll benefit from the infrastructure, support, and structured training of a well-established international business, but with the energy, visibility, and culture of a start-up environment.

Start date: September 2026 (hiring a cohort to grow together).

The role:

  • Youโ€™ll be building relationships with clients and candidates across tech, construction, engineering, and energy markets. Youโ€™ll learn how to win new business, manage client accounts, source high-calibre talent, and negotiate offers.
  • Recruitment is consultative, fast-paced, and performance-driven. Itโ€™s not easy, but itโ€™s rewarding financially and professionally for those who commit to it.

What youโ€™ll earn:

  • Starting salary of $45,000
  • Salary increase to $50,000 once training is completed
  • Uncapped commission from day one
  • You are in control of how quickly your earnings grow. The structure is transparent and performance-based.

Training & development:

  • You wonโ€™t be left to figure it out alone. There is a dedicated in-house Learning & Development team delivering structured onboarding and ongoing training. Youโ€™ll have clear milestones, regular feedback, and a mapped-out progression plan.
  • Progression is genuinely achievable right up to Director level. The business promotes from within and supports long-term career development.

Who thrives here?

  • Ideally, youโ€™ll have around 12 months of commercial experience. This could be in:
  • Sales
  • Events
  • Logistics
  • Insurance
  • Or any customer/client-facing role
  • What matters most is that youโ€™re comfortable speaking to people, commercially aware, and motivated by success. You should be ambitious, resilient, and excited by growth... both yours and the companyโ€™s.

The environment & perks:

  • 12pm finish every Friday
  • Two company trips each year
  • Fun, sociable office culture
  • Great central Tampa location
  • Growing team where you can make a visible impact

This is a rare opportunity to join an established international business at an early stage of US expansion, giving you both security and serious growth opportunity.

If you want a career rather than just a job, and youโ€™re ready to build something, this is your chance.

September 2026 start.
