The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure supporting plant operations. This role manages daily IT support activities, monitors systems and networks, assists with infrastructure maintenance, supports cybersecurity practices, maintains asset inventory accuracy, and provides user guidance to ensure operational continuity and productivity
Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily IT operations to ensure reliability and performance of plant IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Monitor IT systems and networks to identify performance issues, security threats, and operational risks.
  • Support the installation and maintenance of network infrastructure in coordination with the Network Operations Team.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect IT systems and company data.
  • Assist with software application configuration and maintenance to meet operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate asset records by updating the inventory tracking system.
  • Conduct initial user training or orientation on IT systems and best practices.
  • Ensure IT operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
