We are a sister company of Sunshine State Plumbing which has provided plumbing services in the Jacksonville area for 15+ years. We are a family owned and operated business. Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Multifamily Start-Up amp; Warranty Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on the start-up, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems in multifamily properties, along with diagnosing and resolving warranty-related service issues across various locations throughout Florida. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, a solid understanding of duct systems, and is comfortable working on residential and light commercial equipment. You should be highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing your time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with basic HVAC codes and standards, and the ability to confidently use technology (smartphones, tablets, Microsoft programs, and dispatching systems) are essential. A commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service is key to success in this role.

What You'll Do
  • Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems in new multifamily construction projects
  • Verify proper installation, system performance, and compliance with manufacturer specifications
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues under warranty, including heating, cooling, and ventilation components
  • Complete detailed service reports and documentation for start-ups and warranty calls
  • Collaborate with construction teams, property managers, and internal staff to ensure timely project completion
  • Perform quality check walks
  • Traveling to various locations throughout the state of Florida
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition
  • Adhere to all safety standards, codes, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
  • 2 + Years of HVAC Service experience in Multifamily as a Start Up Technician
  • EPA Universal Certification Required
  • High level of accountability
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computing skills and ability to use a computer, laptop, or tablet.
  • Service Titan experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license amp; able to pass a background check
  • Must be willing to travel locally amp; stay overnight if a project requires
Must be able to pass a background check, and drug tests prior to and throughout employment
