Job description

The Infrastructure Technician III is a seniorlevel, handson technical expert who leads the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of complex structured cabling and lowvoltage systems in missioncritical environments. This role sets the standard for quality, safety, and workmanship while mentoring junior technicians and supporting the successful delivery of highstakes data center and enterprise infrastructure projects.ย

Whatย You'llย Doย 

Lead Advanced Structured Cabling & ICT Infrastructure Workย 

  • Install, service, upgrade, and decommission complex structured cabling systems, including Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optic systems, andย low voltageย technologies.ย 

  • Executeย high skillย work such as fusion splicingย high strandย ribbon fiber,ย terminatingย and testing copper and fiber, and performing advanced troubleshooting.ย 

  • Install and remove infrastructure components including racks, cable trays, cabinets, pathways, and network devices.ย 

Be the Subject Matter Expertย Onsiteย 

  • Apply deep knowledge of TIA/BICSI standards, building codes, and life safety requirements.ย 

  • Conduct Fluke DSX8000 testing, OTDR testing, inspection, documentation, and remediation.ย 

  • Install servers, rackย andย stack equipment, patch panels, bonding, firestopping, and cable channeling.ย 

  • Troubleshoot and support networkย devices;ย experience with Cisco routers is a strong plus.ย 

Lead Teams & Set the Standardย 

  • Act as the first level of field leadership: ensuringย Safety First, followed by Quality, then Production.ย 

  • Mentor and guide Technicians I & II, leading by example in workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.ย 

  • Coordinate workflows with team members to keep projects on schedule and compliant with scope.ย 

Deliver an Outstanding Client Experienceย 

  • Serve as aย customer facingย technical professional with exceptional communication and service skills.ย 

  • Provide clear updates on project status, technical challenges, and resolutions.ย 

  • Support emergency service requests, ensuringย timelyย response and SLA compliance.ย 

Ensureย World-classย Documentation & Project Executionย 

  • Maintainย accurateย electronic and written documentation for time, materials, testing results, and work progress.ย 

  • Request tools, supplies, and materials to ensure readiness andย jobsiteย efficiency.ย 

  • Participate in required meetings,ย training, and workshops toย maintainย expertiseย and certifications.ย
