What is a tech sales development representative?

A Tech Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a professional responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers for technology products or services. Their main role is to reach out to leads, initiate conversations, and schedule meetings or demos for the sales team. SDRs typically use phone calls, emails, and social media to connect with prospects, focusing on generating interest and building a pipeline of sales opportunities.
